my father in law has a self earned house and inherent landed property in Tamil Nadu and we are Hindu he made a family settlement
1 the house for his 2 sons and the inherent
land also to his 2 sons and my wife that is his daughter has no consideration and the document was sine by all the father 2 sons and daughter and registered. now my father in law was advised by his friends that this settlement is illegal and he wants to give equal share to his daughter in the inherent property
is it possible to cancel the settlement made early pl advise how to proceed

he has got the property from his father he sold some part of land and build a house the two brothers made my mother and her father and mother to sine a family property settlement giving only 10%of the total property
