Filing of itr while in judicial custody

The authorised signatory of a NGO holding FCRA a/c is in jail and wants to file ITR Query what is the legal procedure for him to file return while in judicial custody..

As prisoner is in Jail,He can't file his return of Income. He has to appoint an Authorised Person and the Authorised Person has to file His Income tax return. the Authorised person willl be considered as a Representative assesse. the Representative assesss has to give his details in the ITR.

Yes. A prisoner can give authorization to one person to file ITR on his behalf.
