A Hindu daughter has equal rights of that of a son. Daughter as a legal heir, is entitled for equal share in her father's share in the partnership, along with the other legal heirs of her father.

If the property is joint hindu family property then daughter can claim equal share. Yes the daughter can get equal rights in partnership firm.

I think querry relates to the property of partnership firm and that invites the interpretation of partnership deed.If the deed is clear about the investment of funds and shares there may not be problem. However shares of daughters in father's property is no doubt equal to sons.

If the partnership business is joint hindu family business then as a coparcener daughter has got equal share in the suit partnership firm.
But it requires pleadings like that and she will to prove that partnership firm is hindu joint family business.
Son and father only were the partners in the firm. She has to prove that the partnership firm was formed from the income of the joint hindu family income.
