(Querist) 27 July 2012 This query is : Resolved
Sir,
What passport Act says when a girl having a passport as unmarried status in month Dec 2009 she got married after she got opportinuty from her company to visit abroad and she used her old passport and filled application visa form with unmarried status and got visa and visited abroad.
Her husband already filled divorce case against her and she filled SLP as a married status to transfer the divorce petition in her city where she work.
My query is wheater she use her status as per there convieance and filled false affiadvit before two top authority is crime or not.
What passport Act says wheater she can travell without changing there name after marriage or not.
Still she work as a Miss can be a ground for divorce petition.
What is the correct platform where complaiant has to be file,And how can we get the document from embassy where she got VISA.
Pl advise

initiating action against the wife for giving false information is left to passport authority.
Using miss etc., are not the grounds for divorce.
