regarding multiple wills

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 13 May 2011 This query is : Resolved
if someone has registered a will and after the death of that will writer(owner) another will is produced by some one else which one is accepted?

why should be a will registered why because in one the answers the lawyer says any will is accepted how is it?

if its a biased will what will be the other persons fate?

It is the last validly executed Will, if there is more than one Will, which is taken into effect.

Only latest will can be valid. However, if the other will pertains to some other property/wealth, that would also be valid for that purpose only.

If there are two different wills for the same property, the latest will have the more value irrespective of whther that is registered or not. Registration of will is resorted have legal validity in case of any dispute on the death of the person.

If the latest will does not talk about the earlier registered will and revokation of the earlier registered will, then the latest will can be doubted.

Yes. Am agree with mr.ramchandran. And also if the last will is unregistered will and earlier will is registered mean that time also the last will is doubted.. As per mr.r.r words the last will must be mentioned about the cancellation of the earlier will.
