Sms admissible as evidence in criminal trial

I have sent a SMS to the opposing party (Accused). Please confirm if SMS is admissible evidence in court?

Yes, sms is admissible as an evidence in the court but if it is saved in its original form.

Electronic evidences are admissible in evidence as per Evidence Act.

SMS type of evidences are admissible as "secondary evidence", which again is subject to a duly prepared report of a certified cyber expert and his subsequent examination, in the Court.
