Widows share

Hi Team,

Pls let me know does the widow( brothers wife) has any share in the father in law property and if yes how much as per shariah law.

as per mohd., law if son dies before the father, his legal heirs wont get any share. Theory of exclusion applies

Thanks for response,

My brother died 5 yrs back and so my bhabi and her kids will not have any share in my fathers property who is still alive as per sharia law...Pls clarify

As long as the father has any living son,
the widow and children of his pre-deceased son are excluded from inheriting him.
If in case at the time of demise of the father, he had not left any living sons,
in that case, his grandchildren will inherit him.
Daughter in law has no share in the property of the father in law under Muslim Law.
This rule applies to both the Sunnis and Shias.
