Payment of bond amount before the term ceases

I am working in a PSB(UNION BANK) for 18 months now and want to resign to do higher studies. I get to be a confirmed employee in another 6 months but also need to join the course in the same time which is my dream. The bond term is of 36 months and the bond amount is 2 Lacs Rupees. Do I need to repay the full amount or if possible something lesser? Kindly help me out.

Erase the names/logo/address/phone numbers/email id's/photos/signatures etc to maintain the confidentiality....

Actually we don't get to keep any copies, but I guess I shall be able to extract one. Will let you know soon. Thanks

It will be up to the employers to decide. They can ask you to pay up the full bond amount or a pro rata amount for the remaining part of the bond period.
