Witnesses in partition case

How many witnesses can a defendant summon in a partition case ? Does there have to be a justification for each or relevance to the case or not ? Is there any case law on this? Please give one case, I will search the rest.

Hello Mr. Gurdip

To summon  the  no. of  the witness in a suit  depends on the relevancy of witnesses to the case.  At the time of your turn to give evidence your lawyer and you will have to sit and discuss the witnesses and their relevancy to prove your defence. The witness who will help in proving your case beyond reasonable dobut is required. there is no fixed number is decided by the law. it may be one or more. you need not to search any case law for this. The Evidence Act will helpful to resolve you doubt.

The right words are already chosen by you..relevance and justification.

The contentions of OP, lawyer of OP are to be handled by your own lawyer.
