DVC case & Judicial separation case

Dear expert/s,
Kindly advise whether Domestic Violence case is maintenable while Judicial separation case running parallel.
Wife filed case for judicial separation in family court and also Domestic violence case in Metropolitan court.

Thank you. Here, wife all along stayed with husband for over 14 years long marital life. Cases filed alleging husband for cruelty all along while continued to stay with him and residing same house.
