I belong to Agamudi Caste but born and brought up in bangalore, karnataka. In karnataka state Agamudi is category 1 (backward) for education and i have taken advantage of it. I am planning for central government job and Agamudi (agamudayar) is a backward class in tamil nadu (central OBC list if tamil nadu). We speak tamil and roots from tamil nadu location. Can i claim OBC status ? The Agamudi/agamudayar is not on central OBC list of karnataka.
