False FIR

Respected Experts, Ex wife ( divorced) has filed an FIR against Ex Husband on theft case which is false. Now Ex Husband was called to police station and asked for obtaining a Police bail. Is is necessary as ex hubby is falsely implicated or what to do ? Kindly advise please .Regards

I am afraid that falsely implication in the case is your version. As the FIR has been registered and if you have strong evidence to show/prove your case then file petition in HC for squishing the FIR itself. Wife might have given strong evidences that appear prima facie genuine to police to register FIR against you.
