Gathering of evidence

I have been made an accused in an FIR u/s 408, 420. Of all other things the FIR contains a list of cheques deposited in the account of a 3rd party who has not been made a party in the FIR. The police is non co-operative.0 Copies of these cheques are vital on proving that it is a fake FIR. I need to know how can I being an accused ask the court and/or the bank in which these cheques were deposited to give me a copy of these cheques to prove my innocence? As neither the cheque issuer nor the person in whose account the cheques were deposited is a party in the FIR.

Engage A good defence lawyer and discuss all this  with him./uLTIMATELY HE WOULD PROVE THSAT THIS IS A FAKE CASE AND ALL THE CHEQUES ARE FAKE AND YOU'D EMERGE VICTORIOS.Court will give clean chit to you..

Consult and engage a local prudent lawyer for proper appreciation of facts and documents, guide and proceed.

consult and engage a good lawyer, explicate him proper facts, if cheques are mentioned in FIR then they must placed on case file, get copy from there, rest leave on your lawyer.

Also, file application to the Bank,if it is a PSU, enclosing such cheques alleged to have been deposited and enclose copy of FIR, claim that you are the affected party, and seek certified copies of such cheques under RTI in larger public interest.   Search website of PSU for RTI Rules and regulations in format, payment of RTI fee and to locate Public Information officer.   This is just an attempt, as you are the affected party, and police allege such cheque deposits were made by you.
