Labour or corporate law

Hi,

My Wife is working in a Japanese Automobile Manufacturing organisation and she served this organisation in Past for around 7 years as Full time employee but now due to additional responsibility of managing our kid , she resigned and after a gap of two years now again she joined there as a contract employee and serving the organisation for three days a week.

She works there as Language specialist ( in contractual term ) and now since she shown her interest to take some additional responsibilities of HR Recruitement and performance management ( which she was doing earlier as full time employee) so Management is also keen to give her these addtional responsibilities also but I want to Know whether under any Law ( Labour or Corporate law of India etc.) that can prohibit her to do these types of roles as Contract Employee.

Or is it solely the decision of management of the company to give her this role based on her Integrity and dedication and any Law has nothing to do with these types of issues.

Waiting for a valueable feedback on the said issues.

In case it is contractual it is between establishment and contractor.

Go thru the T&C of the contract that is offerred, carefully, before it is signed.

Preferably show it to your able counsel.
