legal heir partition

I, my mother and 2 sisters are about to make a partition deed of my late father's property. Can I include my wife and son's name as joint holder with me for the portion that I will receive from the partition in the partition deed and mutate it ?

Dear Querist,

You can do so since its a family arrangement. But get it made as a covenant in the partition deed.

Yes, in respect of the portion falling to your share, you can get the same mutated in the joint names of you, your wife and son.
