No hearing in 6 months by Deputy Registrar in an appeal filed challenging it's order ?

It's very scary situation and proves how law abiding citizens are tortured & harassed by Registrar's of Coop Societies in Mumbai.

My uncle a senior citizen has filed appeal challenging an order it passed ex parte even when all courts were shut due to COVID 19.

He has deposited 50% of the amount with the coop society and await quick hearing and disposal of the appeal. But even after 6 months no hearing is being done under some pretext or other.

My uncle has borrowed the deposit money and delay in hearing is adding to interest cost. He is senior citizen and in dispair.

Please guide how to deal with the situation. Any experienced expert based in Mumbai for the matter? TIA

File an application before RCS for early hearing of the case.

If such application is dismissed you can move to applette authority / Tribunal

and/or

file a writ petition under Article 227 of Constitution of India before Bombay High Court for a writ of mandamus to decide the case within a specific time.
