Notice pay

Dear All

1.  Can Probation period included in terms of notice or not

2.  What is the meaning for Notice period salary. does the salary includs all other benefits or only basic pay is considered

3. Can an employer demand CTC in lieu of Notice pay (as per appointment letter notice pay means salary)

Dear Rajesh,

This is KalaiSelvan from Chennai.

1. Yes. It was included interms of Probation period for Notice pay recovery.

2.Actually notice pay will recovery only in Basic + DA. Not in other components like HRA, COnv, Spla etc.

3. No. In any organization, Notice pay recovery should be recovered only in basic not in CTC part.(  I were handling the Full & Final Settlement, payroll & Statuatory in my organization.)

pls tell me if an employer teminate an employe than terminated employee get any claim

Hi Mukesh,

It was based on the employer. In some organization, if an employer termninate the employee, they will provide some Exgratia amount ( i.e. Maximum - from 3 - 5 months basic amount will be provide to employee ).
