Usually DCP is PIO and Commissioner is CPIO...................and their is a RTI cell in Commissioner's office.

The RTI form alongwith fee can be deposited there (of course under proepr acknowlewdgment) alongwith postage prepaid self addressed envelope if you want reply by Redg. Post. The I/C RTI cell can help to examine the file also.

Log on to website of police and get all answers. The info has to be provided in 30 days/earlier in case of court cases. The RTI application with requisite fee can be sent by post/preferably Redg. Post. For more visit their website.
