If the court has passed the decree in favor of the plaintff  and in the said circumstance, the plaintiff can file an execution petition for the interest amount alone as per the decree.

Yes,you are entitled to get  interest also so file execution petition for amount of interest.

That means the decree is partially satisfied, you should file execution of decree to the extent of balance amount to get it finally satisfied.

P. Venu (Advocate)     13 July 2023

A decree cannot be disputed at the execution stage.

Dr. J C Vashista (Advocate )     14 July 2023

The suit is stated to have been settled for principle amount which has been paid, accordingly nothing remains to be claimed through the Court.

No case left over.
