It is provided under section 451 of the Cr. PC. You have to make an application in the Court of jurisdiction in the matter. There is a good case from Supreme Court judgements which I would like you to go through to under stand the meaning /procedure of the term. Citation is

U have to file an application for Superdari in the concenred court, where the matter is pending or in whose jurisdiction the vehicle is impound. The provision for this application is in Cr.P.C. U/S 451
