Usually the order is there for filing the reply, if there is no order as to deadline ;however under CPC the time for filing the reply is 120 days after service of summons.

Your vakalatnama will be recorded by high court and when the matter is listed, you will be asked to submit your objections, if you are not ready, then the court may adjourn the matter for filing counter objections for the next date of listing.

Section 148A(b) of the said Act requires grant of minimum time of seven days to an assessee to file its reply to the show cause notice.
