a girl cheated me and my friend.
a girl cheated my friend. my friend loved her.
the girl told him that she loved him.
my friend spent 1 lakh ruppes for her.
he had gifted her valuable ornaments.

now that girl told to my friend that she does not love him.

my friend wanted 1 lakh ruppes from her.

but she refused to give him.

similar case happened to me 10 years ago.

how to sue such girls?

how to give them punishment?

Otherwise I shall guess she was smart enough to meet plans you and your friend made against her together.

AND NOT EVEN IN YOUR CASE WHICH IS TEN YEARS OLD.

but my friend thought that the girl will marry him. so he bought gift for her.the girl told him that she will marry him.
but the girl now refused to marry him.
she refused to return gifts also.

You said you were cheated 10 years ago. No civil suit will lie. Have you not married so far.

Further if shse took heavy money as a cosideration of marrige she is triable under dowry act.

But take waht Mr P Singh said seriously. You practically have no case. You can at the most provide job to some idling advocate.

Do you have any proof of cheating by the girl to you or your friend?

If you were cheated by that girl 10 years back, how your friend could rely on her when both of you knew that she had earlier cheated you?

Gifts are never returnable. Forget about that.

Love and Cheating the both are different terms. What relations you were having with girl? a lover or a businessman? Cheating is a term related to agreement / Contract / Breach/ misrepresentation / Fraud. it is governed by contract act or IPC or so many other acts but The Love is governed by some different law.

No cheating at all is there. Do this is business of that girl? Does she cheated the same way others also? if no you have no case made out against her.

Mere breach of promise does not constitute the offence of Cheating. It is the settled principle of law.
