Dear Sir/Ma'm,
I am working with a central govt. PSU, from last 3 years & 3 months, suddenly yesterday, they have communicated that youer contract period ending on 30th june, will not be renewed & you should look for another job. No any reasons has been given, Company's COO has said that we have excess manpower now.Suddenly, from where the question of extra manpower comes?
I am a married man with my wife pregnant, where will I go now at this condition. What's the Labour law says in such case & how to protect my job. As, I am working at Management profile of HR Officer. Pl. help what to do, to whom to approach, what should be the legal course in this regard, as they have renewed the contract of other 7 peoples, but not mine.

You may show the contract, service rules, appraisals if any and any other relevant record to an able counsel specializing in service matters for a considered opinion.

Contract letter need to be referred, discuss with local lawyer / worker association representatives of the department.
