Q)does in maintenance order it is written that maintenance is applicable from date of order or date of application. if it is not mention what does that mean?

In case such words specifically are not written then a dispute qua interpretation takes place and both parties insist it from the date of their convenience. Generally such orders are challenged before the upper court which clarifies the position. Sometimes section 152 of CPC is also invoked vide which such decree is again put before the same court to clarify that point.
