Land title dispute

(Querist) 28 February 2012 This query is : Resolved
Land was purchased and registered on my name in 1984. Lay out was approved by Grampanchayath for house sites. After that one plot was sold. I informed Revenue authorities in 1988 stating on Affidavit that I purchased a land and requested to issue Pahani on my name. They issued Pahani with the name of Pattadar who sold land to me and down below of Pahani they mentioned my name and stated that they were issuing pahani Nakal to me. Does it mean that they have no objection to accept my title. Please clarify on legal point of view to interrupt the transaction. Why because In 2010 they said it is Govt., Assigned Land. I already filed a WP. Here I wanted to take strength of document of Pahani is acceptance of revenue which is final as they have not served any notice. After filing WP REVENUE SAID IT IS GOVT ASSIGNED LAND . Can it be challenged legally if so under which rule or section.

Pahani which bears your name is an imporrtant document which can be relied upon prima facie establishing your ownership rights thereon.
