Is Advocate sanad is required for LLM Professor for lectureship? And,he can do non-advocate business?
I have completed LLB. And, I want to do LLM. After completed LLM, I want to do only professor job, But i don't want to do any legal practice. So, for a llm professor, Is advocate sanad required compulsory? If no then can he do non-advocate business of his own name?

Academic query. Read Advocates Act, 1961, you have to choose either to teach or practice and not both (legally/officially).

Better after finishing L.LM you start worrying about all this Unless and Until you are enrolled with Bar Council you need not worry at all
A law professor does not need Advocate enrollment in Bar Council.

Without enrollment, one cannot practice law before a court, so if you are not enrolled, you are not an advocate, hence you are not barred from teaching law.
