non-payment costs charged by court

(Querist) 10 May 2011 This query is : Resolved
Sir

In a maintenance case my got ex parte in her favour.

The court passed orers to pass interim orders to pay 70,000 and rs 5000/- per month till date i did no pay

I lost my job on a complaint forwarded by my FIL. The complaint to my office is that, i am filing RTI to my FIL's office

What would be the solution till now i did not get any job. How to come out of that. Even to contest the petition also i am dependent on my brother, facing crimnal[498a] charges

when will police come to arrest me and what would be the punishment.

only order is not sufficient, to recover the ordered amount she has to file recovery petition.

thank you all

any time they file executive/recovery petition then what is the alternative to come out from the problem as mentioned above

Unless the order of maintenance is set aside or modified, you are bound to pay and on your failure to do so you may be put behind the bars in imprisonment of one month for default of every month.

Yes. You yet to be set aside the ex parte order. Then only you can proceed your case.. But in this situation court will not allow your set aside petition without paying the due amount to the wife..
