TO GET THE SANAD MEMBERSHIP

Sir,

I have passed LLB three years degree course a decade ago from mumbai university. What is the procedure of taking sanad, I am 43 would age be a barrier? Further, what is the eligibility for solicitor exam if I need to appear??

Please approach your State Bar Council and submit the application form for enrolment as an Advocate. Presently, Age is not a Bar for enrolment.
After such enrolment, you have to approach some of the Solicitors to take you as Article Clerk. Immediately after joining the Solicitor as Articled Clerk, you can enrol yourself with the Institute in Mumbai which is conducting the Solicitor Examination. You have to work as Article Clerk for 3 years. Thereafter you are eligible to sit for the Solicitor Examination.
