Dear Sir,
I would like to obtain higher education and I am an government servent. My organization is not giving me permission for higher studies, but
can I still do my higher education with out their consent ?
After completion of my higher education can I apply for higher government jobs ?

After working in your organization for at least 3 years including completion of probation period you can sit for examination of Higher education b y applying EL or Loss of Pay leave etc and complete higher education if study leave is not there in your organization.

Ans: Yes you can provided department has not punished you for proceeding against their orders.

Since you are working in Govt, for pursuing, higher studies, you have to take necessary permission. After getting permission, then only you can apply for El or study leave. After acquiring higher qualification, you may apply for higher post.

If you increase your educational qualification without permission of the department, the same cannot be used during your entire tenure of service with that department, though you shall be free to use that after your retirement and now decision is your own.

respected rajendra k & kumar doab sir,
i am serving to department of atomic energy (DAE), as per their rules i am eligible to apply for higher education after completion of due 3 years of services period only. as i had completed 2 years.
where as it is not So, with other government organisations.
weather i had applied for higher education permission in written is No.Due to above rules.

If the rule in your PSU is to grant permission after 3 years then the same cannot be relaxed just for you allegedly at par with other PSUs.
Either you get direction from the High Court or wait for further one more year.

If provision exist for approving deviation approach competent authority with recommendations from your boss.
