Respected Experts, One of my friends Mr.Rao Paid Rs. 2,00,000 to a company to buy papper cup making machine.The company not delivered the machine. So my friend insist the company to deliver the machine or return back the money. The company gave postdated cheque my friend deposited the cheque in mentioned date in his a/c.The cheque was bounced due to insufficiant of fund. Then my friend contacted the company to ask about the cheque. He come to know that The owner of the comany was arrested by police. Now the owner is on bail. Your friend has to give a legal notice to the accused within one month of the receipt of the information of bouncing giving him 15 days time to deposit the amount failing which you have to file a criminal complaint under section 138 of NI Act.
