Advocate is not doing basics things his client is obligated

we have got in to a out of the court settlement in a civil case. The appellant in the high court promised in the 'agreement after settlement' to cancel the appeal on the grounds that the parties came to settlement.  But, advocate is not filing a petition to cancel the appeal.  it seems he want to benefit the other party by making the appellant breach the contract after settlement . We are not in a financial position to approach new lawyer the last date is very near. how can we ourselves file the required petition in the high court. is it possible to send the petition in E-post. Please reply please.

Change the advocate immediately, instruct your new advocate about the position and be in close follow up with him.
