I am an engineering student (osmania university ). I have been detained due to excessive backlogs. As per the rule of our university there shouldn't be more than 12 backlogs else the student will be detained for one complete year. Every year many students were being detained and then they file the stay order petition and that gets approved by high court.
But this year around 1200 students filed the petition and at the beginning of the semester we got the stay and we attended the college examination and classes but the university filed a counter petition and few days back there was a hearing , the judge dismissed the case . Actually the judge was changed. Our lawyer was telling us that he would file a writ appeal , are there any chances that we get promoted?
Please help and sorry for confusion if any...
