Fax, Email as an evidencd?

Can the Fax Receipts / Reports, Sent Emails can be produced as an valid evidences in the Civil / Consumer Court?

The Information Technology Act 2000 speaks eloborately about the acceptance of the electronic governance.section 4 has provided for acceptance of meterials transmitted in an electronic form and accessable so as to be usable for a subsequent reference can be accepted as evidence.

Yes these are acceptable under Section 22-A, 65-A, 65-B, 85-B of evidence Act.
