Fir

dear sir, i would like to know one important thing. if anyones files a fir against someone in 420. and later on in police verification and investigation  if that fir turns out to be false then whats the procedure? will police give a report to court saying its a false report or still the police will arrest the person against whom the complaint has been filed? actually a person has filed a case. later on the police called the person against whom the complaint was filed. the person sent the details of transactions to the IG, SP, AND INVESTIGATION OFFICER. after they received the papers they were satisfied with the details and one police person even agreed that its a false report. but police are not saying about the next procedure. so whats the procedure? one person told me that they do have the right to report the court thats its a false case and nothing has to be given to the complainant.

Reporter can file protest ptition against police report. Court can order for reinvestigation or may treat the matter as private complaint.
