We plan to form a club in Delhi for social, recreational and informative activities majorly for Senior Citiens but open to all. The club would be a non-profit entity and There would be membership entrance fee and yearly subscripttion. Our quetions are:
- Should the club be registered as Society or a Trust ?
- Is it possible that Founder Members are on board (as President/VP/Sectretary/Treasurer) for lifetime in either case of a society or trust ?
- What is minimum capital requirement as per law ?
- While PAN card would be applied for, is it necessary for Service Tax Registration?
- Any other legal formality or registration required with other departments?
