Wrong information. The tenant can never become owner.

Why donot you get the premises vacated and rented out to some other tenant?

It is sheer misguidance.  Please do not be under such false cloud or wander around with such misconceptions on the basis of many more such false rumours.  A tenant will remain a tenant till the end until he purchases the property.

Sir,

Can we get information of registered property of any individual whether authorized/unauthorized through RTI and if yes what is the procedure

Dr J C Vashista (Advocate)     24 March 2014

File an inspection application before concerned Sub-Registrar, then, if the document existed, take down particulars and apply for certified copy.

Tenancy litigation takes lot of time to settle. I believe the only wise way is to rent a accommodation by lease only for 11 months.
