I am in a dispute with my landlord in kolkata.
the matter is that i have given two months notice to my landlord for vacation and requested to adjust the security money (equal to 2 months rent) with the notice period rent as i am unable to pay. but he replied that as per agreement rent can not be adjusted with the security deposit and i can only get refund at the time of handing over the room. now my querry is that if i donot pay rent in the notice period then what action can the landlord take??
