To remove wife's name from the passport

No way.. You have to wait to pass decree of divorce.

Why you wanted to delete your wife name from ur passport, when divorce is not granted to you and she is still your wife in the eyes of law.

never try to make a new passport, when you already have one,,. this is illigal and may land you in jail for 6 month or Rs 5000 from passport authority.

why u are into hurry to get your wife's name removed?

you can not.

when you get divorce, and then apply for deletion of your wife name in passport and attched divorce decree, they will issue a new passport with old date validilty for Rs 1000/- fee. its simple.
