Dear Friend

PIO is officer of state Govt. employee.

CPIO is central Govt. Employee.

You sent your request to SDM than submit first appeal to CPIO.

Both are Public information officer.

As per you , perhops you have taken some mistake.

==========================================

You have to file appeal first appellate Authority. OR after waithing 45 Days submit second appeal to state information commissioner.

Go to official website of said department and fild correct details.

Apart from niceties of who is CPIO and who is FAA, under State Govt or under Central Govt, you wil get no reply. RTI has now been turned into jokes by govt officers. Even a Head Clerk is now CPIO!

even if he is head celrk he is laible under RTI Act.

System is laid down.  You have to file appeal to Appellate authroity and then to CIC/SIC.  The person delaying information is liable for fine @Rs 250-/ per day.
