on 30.12.12 , during driving on old man jump from median to my scooter and get hurt.
I bring him to the hospital but due some urgent work i gone suddenly but i leave my friend for necessary treatment.
When i come back i come to other party had fill a FIR and police is searching me.
Next day i met and ask the party it is your mistake not my , what u want he told the private hospital expenses is about 50000/- u pay.
I told this is too much i reject to pay and i told if possible so please do some negotiation. but he show me his influation by some of big man. Finely i decide to go by legal procedure. I got bail and now case is continue.
They charge me 279 337 338.
I am not the local person where case is being held.
Please advice for fine if held.

you have to fight case on merits . in case of section 337 IPC punishment is 6 months imprisonment or fine upto Rs 500

in case of section 338 I.P.C., maximum punishment is 2 years or fine upto Rs.1000/- or both.

It is better to face the case instead of compromising it if your vehicle is duly insured.

Case is already been filed and i is my bad luck before 10 days my insurance has laps.
now have to face case.
Just i want to know if i lose the case how much i pay be pay.

Sir,My advice is you must contest the case,because you have not valid insurance at the time of accident.So you r response to paying compensation of the injured person.If u wanted to admitted the case to file a admission petition through a advocate and court has fined some of amount. Maximam maybe fined Rs 2000/-.

if other party claim his treatment + other exp.
How the court calculate the right amount of compensation.
Other party can ask any thing or there is any rule.
Old man's age is about 69 and at the starting they are claiming with me 50000.
Because if that time i am not able to pay 50000 how can i pay more. at the time of compensation.
