Dear experts,
before 2 1/2 years I have gotten married with a girl.(HIndu)
Actually she is residing in her parents home after 3 months of marriage till now. We tried our best to call her here, but she did not come.
Now can I file divorce U/s 13(1)(ib) of HMA(showing desertion)and offer her lumpsum maintenance?
Is this will be a safeguard against 498A?

A grandchild is the beneficiary of a fixed deposit as he was appointed a nominee by the maternal grandmother. Can the claim of a maternal uncle against such a child with respect to the deposit as aforesaid be sustainable in law on the ground that he is a legal heir to the moveable assets of hius mother/ the maternal grandmother of the child? Please clarify.
Shouldn't nomination in favour of a grand child qua any fixed deposit operate as intended gift borne out of love and affection? Can the garnad child be held to be a trustee?
