HI,
I applied for state govt. job and bsnl before getting a job in central government(dept of posts). I have attended the state govt. interview when i was working in postal department they did not ask for the noc at the time of interview. I resigned the postal job and joined in bsnl. Now i got the state govt job and want to join there, is there any problem since I have not presented the noc of postal department at the time of interview

Yes, NOC is required but generally at the time of joining the job. Ask the new employer about the time of submitting NOC so you carry the same when it is needed.

You should apply and get from your department, if not applied previously apply for post facto permission. Your department can accept your request.

There would not be any problem if you take up the new job after the resignation from the present job is duly accepted and you do not pursue in getting any advantage of the present Government service.

If you do not get NOC then how are you going to fill attestation forms?
are you going to hide previous employment under Govt?
are you going to hide your current address?
If you take NOC (which may be a herculean task now) you will get the continuation of service and will also not have to face police verification and medical examination all over again and joining will behastened.

I completely agree with the advice of Mr. Venu. But, I must also caution the querist that at no point of time, he should hide the fact while filling up any forms. (I am sure, he would got a relieving letter - not NOC from the Department of Posts, when he resigned; and again from BSNL when he resigns from it. Both these documents are sufficient to show that he has been properly relieved from the earlier organizations).

Well advised by experts, I agree with their views, nothing more to add, especially to the views expressed by experts Mr. Venu and Mr. Anirudh.

No NOC is required as you have applied to these posts before you joined in the Postal Dept. As rightly advised by experts you should not hide any facts and submit the relieving letter got from the earlier employer. One can foresee problems only if he/she was employed at the time of applying for another post and suppressed this fact, or applying directly without routing the application through the existing department.
