It is not necessary to attend on each date at court. Advocate is to be represent in court of law. Only when your diposition evidence then you will attend the court as per the instructions of your advocate. Otherwise not necessary to attend it.

One another option to you that you will give power of attorney to the person whose favour you trust.

What type of criminal complaint? Please come with material facts.

Whether it is a FIR or court complaint case, however, in both cases your deposition before the Court (when required) is must to prove your allegation(s) to be inquired by concerned court ?

If it is a private criminal complaint then it is pertinent that the complainant has to be present before court on all the dates of hearing except one or two hearings where he can file an exemption petition through your advocate.

In almost each thread you are giving a piecemeal information and seeking advise.    In some cases it appears that you have taken yourself as examiner and experts are students appearing in LLB examination and attempting a short note.

You will never be able to get a complete advise unless facts are shared in one go.

The advise based on partial facts may not be suitable and rather can be counterproductive.

The loser in this game will be you and you alone.

The experts on this forum are giving this charitable advise spending their own time unsing their own electricity and net connection.  It is not fare to play hide and seek with experts.

Yes, the querist is trying to have fun by setting question papers. The integrity of this platform requires that such postings are ignored

T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Advocate)     20 February 2025

I agree with the opinions of the experts here, the querist is misusing the free legal advice forum with such academic questions.
