CHEQUE VALIDITY

Dear sir/Madam
Is a cheque valid if it is given on an unregistered agreement. But the debt agreement which I signed under severe pressure from police i.e, for 2300000OINR.
The cheque was bounced in Aug 2022. But my parents filed a case in April 2023 stating that my parents asked me to pay the bounced amount. But no notice was issued to me in Aug 2022. I was on ship in Aug 2022.
Is the case valid.
May I raise a police complaint now regarding my stolen cheques .
All my belongings left at home as I married a girl against their will.
Please advise

Contact advocate and file private complaint against them in magistrate court .

It is immaterial  that agreement was  unregistered or registered material thing is that cheque bears your signature or not, if cheque is duly signed by you then it is perfectly valid. You may raise objection in court that case is time barred and not maintainable.

In almost each thread you are giving a piecemeal information and seeking advise.    In some cases it appears that you have taken yourself as examiner and experts are students appearing in LLB examination and attempting a short note.

You will never be able to get a complete advise unless facts are shared in one go.

The advise based on partial facts may not be suitable and rather can be counterproductive.

The loser in this game will be you and you alone.

The experts on this forum are giving this charitable advise spending their own time unsing their own electricity and net connection.  It is not fare to play hide and seek with experts.
