INVESTIGATION STOPPED BY POLICE

Dear sir/Madam
The police has stopped the investigation under political pressure .My father filed a private complaint against me regarding debts.
Magistrate ordered the police to investigate.But the police are not doing any investigation as there is immense political pressure on them.
Please suggest as I have to go abroad for my job.

File an application before magistrate.

Otherwise file a writ in High Court

It is better to consult your lawyer.

If the police is not doing the investigation properly then you may file a petition before the same magistrate court about this lapse and can request the court to convert it to private complaint after which you can give evidence from your side towards the allegations you have made against your father.
