I have some querries regarding the High Court powers in India. Hope you may clarify the same...
1. Whether a law of High Court is enforceable throughout India?
2. Whether Military Tribunals/ Court Marshals comes under the purview of High Court?
3. Appeals from the judgements of sessions court and additional sessions court lie to the high
court only if the sentence is one of imprisonment for more than seven years? What if a person is falsely implicated in a case and is convicted for a period of less than seven years?
4. In the case of High Courts Jurisdiction cannot be curtailed but can be changed by Parliament. Can anyone kindly clarify the same.
