Construction on B khata land

I have started construction on a B khata land in horamavu avatar, Bangalore. The bbmp called asking for a plan sanction. We do not have one since there is no legitimate plan sanction that can be given for a B khata site. We do not want to pay any bribes but proceed in a way that can be documented and is legitimate. What should we do?

Adoption of children on widow remarriage by step father

Hello Experts,

A widow Mrs. Asha (having one son and one daughter from her first marriage) remarries with Mr. Arun.

Now, Mr. Arun wants to have his name as Father's name in all the documents of children, like Aadhaar card, passport, school admission documents etc.

Now, the query is:

1. Is it possible by adoption? Or, what else should be done?

2. If adoption is done, then who shall give the children for adoption?
And if mother gives the childen for adoption, then, Will the right of Mother over children end?

3. Is there any way, by which Mr. Arun is able to get his name on all the children documents including school documents, aadhaar card and passport etc. without Mrs. Asha losing her right over the children and The Children becoming the legal heir of Mr. Arun in future?

Thanks.

Any site to check the last order for a civil case, without knowing the judgement date?

Hello Experts,

I'm trying to find the last order for a certain case which is listed as "CIVIL SUIT FOR DJ & ADJ 07 Of 2016" in the Saket court. The status on the official website- http://courtnic.nic.in/ddc_saket/content.asp is outdated since it shows the next hearing is on April 28,2016. I know the party name and the judge name but I'm not able to see the last order done in this case, since I don't the date of last hearing (since the status page is not up to date).

How can I find the last order? Please help

Stamp duty + registration of a 2008 affidavit

Both, the Original Member (OM) + the Associate Member (AM) of a CHS flat died leaving behind a brother (B) of OM and wife of AM.

Wife signed an affidavit (on her own behalf and on behalf of her children) surrendering all her rights in favour of brother B. Wife was paid 'X' Amount as her full and final share of her husband's (AM) inheritance and this was recorded in the affidavit.

This was in 2008. Property value then was 30 Lacs. Brother B wishes to get that affidavit mentioned above, registered now and pay stamp duty + any penalty for deficit /non payment of stamp duty in 2008. Wife of AM also expired a year later.

How should B compute the stamp duty + penalty? on 'X' Amount or on 30 lacs ?

For registration, since wife is no more, how to get the afidavit registered ?

Guidance from legal experts will be highly appreciated.

Procedure

My wife filed divorce petition in family court under section 13 1(i-a & i-b) of Hindu Marriage Act. In her main petition she has not claimed any permanent maintenance and alimony and nor she has filed any application u/s 25 of HMA act. My wife’s witness stage is now closed. Next date is fixed for my witness (respondent witnesses). I have a doubt that she will orally ask for permanent maintenance and alimony during argument stage.

My query : 1) This there any way by which I can prevent her from misusing the law. Because once my witness stage is over I would not be able to defend it on merits. Is there any misc application that I could file now requesting the court to direct her to file written application for permanent maintenance & alimony so that I am able to defend it on merits (with documentary evidences)
