What you want. Do you want retain your surnmae as Hadpad or Budihal?
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 07 March 2012
You have not mentioned what is your preference. If you want to change your certificates then make representation to the Board of school education to effect it as per your birth certificate failing which file a civil suit and if it is vice versa then it is not possible at such belated stage.

Just issue public notice through one or two national newspapers and thereafter get the notification published through the official Gazetter about your original birth name and the alias you adopted with background for that. Wherever you will have to send copy of your birth certificate, just attach one copy of the Gazetter notification along with that to avoid any confusion about your name in the minds of the authorities of the offices you send any application.
