Hi
I executed a Settlement deed (Land) in favour of my brother on 15.10.2014.
But now my brother is filed a case against me for some other property issues.
Can i cancel that settlement deed now by way of court
is there any time limit to file a case for cancellation of that settlement deed

What is settled?
Why do you intend to cancel the settlement deed at this stage?
Show the document to a local lawyer for proper analyzing and guidance/proceeding.

It is believed that you have registered the settlement deed.
Generically speaking: IT can not be canceled by you;settler.

1. The said Settlement Deed (of whatever kind) can be rescinded "Mutually" by consent and joint signatures of both the parties, by executing another "cancellation deed", which should be duly registered.

Your own counsel specializing in revenue/civil/property matters may opine after examining your inputs, docs that there has been/has not been any element of fraud, pressure, coercion, intimidation etc etc and merits in approaching court to convince the court to cancel the said settlement....
