Threats by in laws for IPC498A (False dowry case)

Sir,

I have sent a complaint through registered post to IG,SSP and ASP office regarding subject i have been getting threats for false dowry case on me and my family by my inlaws if demand not meets and threatening for beatenup by my inlaws to me. So i recieved a call from local police chowki and told me plz come in chowki regarding complaint. So i want know what can do in that case there in police chowki what i can share to officer what i can hide plz tell, So i can take precuations. Urgent tomorrow is scheduled visit.

As the case u/s 498A ipc is non bailable offence and if the FIR is already lodged then the police is likely to arrest you once you fall in their trap. You better send some other one to fist verify whether the case is already is lodged or not. Even the advocate could know from the court as to whether the FIR is registered or not. If it is alredy registered then file petition for anticipatory bail.
